Last updated: 4 August 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Hydraleaf, a company registered under registration number 987654321 RC0001, with its registered office at 1234 Rue Principale, bureau 200, Halifax, NS B3H 4R2, Canada (“Hydraleaf”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply only to the use of the website. Purchases made on the Site are governed by our separate terms and conditions of sale (including your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and your statutory rights regarding goods that are not as described, of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Your personal data and cookies are processed in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and our Privacy Policy.

1. Access and eligibility

You must be of legal age (in the United Kingdom, at least 18 years old) or have the consent of a parent or guardian to place an order on the Site. By using the Site, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, up to date and complete.

2. Your account

You may create an account to manage your orders. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please contact us without delay at contact@hydraleaf.store if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site: to breach any applicable law or regulation; to infringe our rights or the rights of any third party; to distribute malware, spam or any other harmful code; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems; to copy, collect or scrape content by automated means without our prior written consent; or to interfere with the operation or security of the Site.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the Hydraleaf name and logo, text, product images, illustrations, videos and the design of the Site — is owned by Hydraleaf or used under licence, and is protected by Canadian, United Kingdom and international intellectual property laws. You may view and print this content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other copying, distribution, modification or commercial use requires our prior written permission.

5. Content you submit

If you submit a review, comment, photo or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with the Site and our marketing. You confirm that you own that content or have the right to share it, and that it is not unlawful, misleading or offensive. We reserve the right to remove any submitted content at our discretion.

6. Product information

We aim to describe our products as accurately as possible, but we do not guarantee that product descriptions, photos, prices or availability information will always be error-free or up to date. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information or withdraw products from our range at any time without prior notice, to the extent permitted by applicable consumer protection law.

7. Health disclaimer

Our products are cosmetic products intended for external use. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The content on the Site is provided for general information only and is not a substitute for medical advice. Results may vary from person to person. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a skin condition or are under medical care, please consult a healthcare professional before using the product. Always carry out a patch test before using a new product.

8. Third-party links and services

The Site may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites and services (such as payment providers, delivery tracking, analytics and social media platforms). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, operation or privacy practices. Your use of these services is subject to each third party’s own terms.

9. Site availability

We do our best to keep the Site available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may temporarily suspend, close or restrict access to all or part of the Site for maintenance or business reasons without prior notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Hydraleaf is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. However, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights under the mandatory laws of your country of residence (such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the United Kingdom), nor our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Hydraleaf and hold it harmless against all claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your infringement of any third-party rights or any law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Continuing to use the Site after any changes means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be heard by the competent courts of Nova Scotia. However, as a consumer you will always be entitled to rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence (such as the United Kingdom) and to bring proceedings before the competent courts where you live (in the United Kingdom, the courts of England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, as applicable).

If a dispute relating to a purchase cannot be resolved through discussion between us, you can obtain free, impartial advice from Citizens Advice (www.citizensadvice.org.uk), which can also refer matters to Trading Standards where appropriate. Questions or complaints about how we handle your personal data can be raised with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) (https://ico.org.uk).
